Hint: the 2004 USA team did not qualify for the Olympic tournament. Some people need to know this.
Baseball does not yet have sufficiently strong or widespread appeal, so the IOC decided (by vote) to demote it from medalist competition. Actions are being taken to try reinstating baseball (and softball) for the 2016 Games, and possibly — don't hope for much, but possibly — for 2012 as well.
cause the finals is always USA vs Japan
and that's what the World Baseball Classic is for.
they already did. Baseball does not have a worldwide appeal.
It might also have some to do with the World Baseball Classic too. I mean the countries compete for that, so why do the Olympics too?
there is the WBC and it never that popular
and maybe its steroids too
