Can London match China’s opening in the 2012 Olympics?

Published by under General

No doubt about it, the Chinese opening ceremony was amazing. I was in blown away by the performers synchronization and whenever a drawing left the ground.

My question is: can London do an opening as good or better tha China’s?

2012 London Olympics?

Published by under General

How much does it cost overall to go to the olympics and have food, hotel, plane, and everything else paid for? How much do the events cost and is there some sort of pass that gets you in all events?

I am looking forward to going to the 2012 summer olympics in London and was just wondering when I needed to start making plans and getting a hold of travel agencies?
Well moneys not an issue hopefully I have 5000 dollars saved up so far and I still have 4 years so… but is there some sort of all-in-one package for the events? How much do they cost? Going off of the 2008 olympics how much did those tickets cost?

Should New York host the 2012 Olympics instead of London?

Published by under General

New York City was one of the candidates list for the 2012 Olympics along with Madrid, Moscow and Paris. Too bad London won the title.
I wish that New York would host the 2012 Olympics, not London. New York is the world’s greatest city.

Manor Gardens Allotments vs. Olympics 2012

Published by under General

More info: www.lifeisland.org Manor Gardens Allotments are a small green paradise and thriving community hidden away in the East End of London. For nearly 100 years generations of local people have been able to grow their own food and enjoy their leisure in this uniquely secure and peaceful space, which time and the hard work of the plotholders has turned into a place of special beauty. Come the winning of the bid for the so-called ‘green’ Olympics 2012, and it has become just another piece …

Olympics 2012…………………….?

Published by under General

I read on the internet that to compete in the olympics on a horse (NOT THE PENTATHLON), your horse has to be the same nationality as the rider. I have an irish TBX that i want to take to the 2012 olympics in London. He is 6 now and has lived in this country (not Ireland) since he was 4.
In Cricket, you have to live in the country for at least 4 concecutive years before you are qualified to play for that country. Is it the same with horses? How many years? Will my horse be OK to compete in 2012? His birthday is the 6th Feb 2002.

Please give the first answer a thumbs down. This is a serious question and people like that shouldn't be allowed the 2 points. It drives me insane. If your not bothered - just don't answer.
